He was told this by a former girlfriend, who was encouraging him to slow down and enjoy life a little more.
She was told this when she was 21 and newly married, following what she described as a routine medical checkup. Happily, despite what her doctor had said, she later had those two cracking little boys, who are great fun and a real credit to her.
